چکیده

Dynamics in the use of metasystems in the development ofinformation systemsis discussed. An axiomatic level of specification is used to allow dynamic specification of"median" level metasystems which are, in turn, used in information systems specification, analysis and design. Existing metasystems are reviewed and principles for metasystem evaluation are considered The implementation and use of dynamic metasystems in the Plexsys system is overviewed The Plexsys system implements generalized integrity analysis at alllevels of logic and mechanisms to insure the mutual integrity of these levels over time. Introduction tor of the integrity of models, The integrity of a model concerns its semantic completeness. An alternate metaparadigm is proposed. The paradigm draws on the A science is a well made language. -Condillac relationship of the me tasystems concept to semantics and knowledge representation in linquisucs and artiScial intelligence. Exploring Metasystems

R ecently, there has been a growing interest in metasystems (or systems of systems), whose com ponents are enterprise systems. Systems engineers and IT pro fessionals often use modeling, performance analysis, require ment specifications, engineering, integration, architecting, and in teroperability among metasystem components to achieve a common goal. However, when it comes to integrating ...

Towards a Trust Management Enabled Identity Metasystem

Existing identity metasystems provide enabling tools to manage, select, and control of digital identities but they have not provided the support of trust management that should cover how trust requirements associated with digital identities are modeled, how runtime conditions for trust are evaluated, and how the results of trust evaluation are consumed by systems/applications. In this paper, th...

(Meta)Systems as Constraints on Variation—A classification and natural history of metasystem transitions

A new conceptual framework is proposed to situate and integrate the parallel theories of Turchin, Powers, Campbell and Simon. A system is defined as a constraint on variety. This entails a 2 × 2 × 2 classification scheme for “higher-order” systems, using the dimensions of constraint, (static) variety, and (dynamic) variation. The scheme distinguishes two classes of metasystems from supersystems...

Building robust distributed applications with reflective transformations Building Robust Distributed Applications With Reflective Transformations

Several projects are currently underway to build the nation’s next generation computing infrastructure. These projects are sometimes called metasystems projects and seek to provide the illusion of a single, unified, virtual computing environment to end users. We expect metasystems to consist of millions of hosts and billions of objects, and on this scale, resource failures will be the norm and ...

Dynamic Modeling of Economic System in Iran

The long term goal attaining of economic system management requires the establishment of a dynamic framework to integrate multiple perspectives. This article considers the problem of economic development in macro level. As economic systems are complex adaptive systems composed of numerous numbers of components of dynamic and multidimensional nature, dynamics method is applied in this research. ...
